Fall Out Boy, Paramore coming to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa
Ready for a major throwback to the early 2000s, and the heyday of formerly Tampa-based pop-punk label Fueled By Ramen?
Fall Out Boy and Paramore are teaming up for a joint tour that'll hit Tampa's MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on July 26, the bands announced today. New Politics will open the show. Tickets to the so-called "Momentour" will cost $26-$66 and go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Jan. 17. Click here for details.
After a brief hiatus, Fall Out Boy proved they've still got a loyal fan base by selling out the USF Sun Dome last fall. As for Paramore? This'll be their first lcoal show in years. They were scheduled to play the 93.3-FLZ Jingle Ball in December before pulling out at the last minute after booking a gig on the season finale of NBC's The Voice.
At the time, both Paramore and 93.3-FLZ promised a make-good show for Tampa Bay fans, likely sometime in March. Details of that event have yet to be arranged, though with the announcement of this tour, it's now more likely to be a private show for contest winners),. We'll keep you posted on details.
