Foreigner, Cheap Trick coming to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa

Bill Bernstein

It's been 40 years, but Foreigner hopes their new summer tour will feel like the first time again.

The long-running radio rockers will hit the road for a 40th anniversary tour this summer, and it's stopping by the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa on Aug. 2. Joining them are recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Cheap Trick (featuring Safety Harbor's own Robin Zander) and Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience.

That's a lot of hits stacked on top of one another, especially in the case of Foreigner. When they opened for Kid Rock a couple of years ago in Tampa, their set was wall-to-wall smashes that had the audience singing wildly: Hot Blooded, Juke Box Hero, Cold As Ice and many, many more.

Tickets to this classic rock supertour start at $29.95 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Click here for details.
