Lots of people were intrigued by the upcoming Freestyle Invastion Tour, scheduled for March 23 at the USF Sun Dome. Old-school club-music favorites like Rob Base, Lisette Melendez and the Cover Girls, above were scheduled to take the stage for a night of dance-pop classics.

Unfortunately, we come bearing news that will surely kill your party vibe: The show has been canceled.

"The promoter has canceled the event," said a spokeswoman for the Sun Dome. Those who ordered online via Ticketmaster have already been refunded; those who purchased tickets at the Sun Dome box office or a Ticketmaster outlet will have to return to the point of purchase for a refund.
