Gasparilla Music Festival lineup: Erykah Badu, Talib Kweli, Greensky Bluegrass, MS MR and more

The Gasparilla Music Festival has just dropped its 2016 lineup, and even by the fest's own eclectic standards, this might be its most diverse to date.

Grammy-winning R&B singer Erykah Badu, funk and soul veteran Charles Bradley, rapper Talib Kweli, Americana groups Greensky Bluegrass and the Whiskey Gentry, indie rockers Blitzen Trapper and Houndmouth, indie-pop outfits MS MR and Savoy are all on the bill for this year's GMF, March 12-13 at Curtis Hixon Park in downtown Tampa.

Other acts on the bill include Antibalas, Carlos Varela, Kermit Ruffins, David Wax Museum, Andrew and Polly, Sweet Crude, Gumbi Ortiz and New Groove City, New Breed Brass Band, Damon Fowler, Fruition, Gwan Massive, Resinated, DieAlps!, Serotonic, the Woolly Bushmen, Poetry 'n Lotion, Ries Brothers, Samurai Shotgun, Jackson Davis and the Jackettes, Gritt, Mr. Tommy, the Mt. Zion Gosepl Choir, the Seminole Indoor Percussion Ensemble and the Dunedin Highland Middle School Pipe Band. More acts, including at least one more headliner, will be added in the coming weeks.
