Joe Walsh, Bad Company coming to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater in Tampa
Glenn Frey may have passed on, but his Eagles bandmate Joe Walsh keeps rolling on. And he's got a new tour to prove it.
The Eagles and James Gang guitarist is joining fellow '70s hitmakers Bad Company for a co-headlining tour that'll hit Tampa's MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater on May 28. Opening the show will be Steve Rodgers, the son of Bad Company singer Paul Rodgers. Tickets are $20 and up, and they go on sale March 11. Click here for details.
Between Bad Company (Bad Company, Feel Like Makin' Love, Can't Get Enough) and Walsh (Rocky Mountain Way, Life's Been Good, Funk #49, Eagles hits like In the City and Life In the Fast Lane), the "One Hell of a Night" Tour will be a night packed with classic rock staples. It might even give that Steely Dan/Steve Winwood show a run for the dad-rock tour of the summer.
"Paul and I agreed it would be a hell of an evening of music," Walsh said in a statement, "one that will be memorable for everyone who comes, and memorable for us, and that’s important in this day and age."
