Kiss, Def Leppard coming to the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa
Kiss is skipping their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction performance because they can't agree on which members should play. But Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and company know just who they want as their summer tourmates: Def Leppard.
The two aging rock outfits are teaming up for a North American trek that'll hit more than 40 cities this summer, including Tampa on July 23. Tickets are $36-$175, and they go on sale Friday. Click here.
Though Kiss has long since parted ways with Ace Frehley and Peter Criss, their lineup has been more or less stable for more than a decade. But Def Leppard's core members have been going strong since the '70s (with guitarist Vivian Campbell replacing the late Steve Clark). Either way, both bands sport catalogs with enough hits to sustain multiple artists for multiple careers. If you like classic rock hits, this is the summer show for you ... at least until Motley Crue and Alice Cooper get here in August.
