Nelly, Kongos playing free 'Bud Light Party Convention' concert in Tampa
Anheuser-Busch InBev may or may not be the staunch advocates of equal pay they claim to be in those Bud Light commercials with Seth Rogen and Amy Schumer.
But Bud Light's commitment to live music seems as intact as ever.
The company has announced a 13-city concert series dubbed the "Bud Light Party Convention," featuring big-name acts performing free concerts "to unite our great nation over some refreshing beers."
Tampa is the only Florida city on the list, with rapper Nelly (Hot In Herre) and alt-rockers Kongos (Come With Me Now) headlining the show. A venue and time have yet to be announced.
To get in, guests 21 and up can register here for an RSVP code starting Aug. 1. RSVP codes are first come, first served. Then click here to enter your RSVP code to receive a voucher for two general admission, non-transferrable tickets. Tickets do not guarantee admission; the concert itself is also first come, first served. (Yes, this is a totally complex process, but hey, so is democracy.)
Other artists playing Bud Light Party Conventions around the country include Lil Wayne, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Jason Derulo, Ludacris, Flo Rida, Young the Giant, Dashboard Confessional and Brett Eldredge.
