Okeechobee Music Festival adds Robert Plant, Hall and Oates, Ween to lineup
This Okeechobee Music Festival in South Florida -- it really might be unlike anything we've seen in the Sunshine State, right?
The first-time fest from some of the organizers of Bonnaroo have already announced headliners like Mumford and Sons, Kendrick Lamar, Skrillex, the Avett Brothers, Bassnectar, Future and Miguel. Today they've added three more big names: Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, Hall and Oates and the freshly reunited Ween.
The festival, which takes place March 4-6 at a new campground about 2 1/2 hours southeast of Tampa, also announced plans for its long-promised "PoWoW!," a late-night jam session similar to Bonnaroo's "Superjam!" Miguel will curate and lead the first PoWoW!, which should be quite a sight to see.
Okeechobee also announced a couple of dozen DJs and acts to play on late-night and side stages. No household names, but scan the full list here.
Three-day tickets to Okeechobee start at $259.50 through Dec. 10, and will increase afterward. Click here for all the details.
