Orlando's Moonstone Music Festival unveils lineup additions: Awolnation, Evanescence, Best Coast, more

A big question mark in Florida's 2016 music festival landscape is the inaugural Moonstone Music Festival, set for Orlando's Central Florida Fairgrounds on April 30 and May 1.

The lineup is very rock-heavy (Kiss, Def Leppard, Flaming Lips, Vintage Trouble, Scott Stapp), which flies in the face of many other big festials these days. But on Tuesday, Moonstone doubled down on that strategy with a slew of lineup additions, all of them in the world of rock.

Awolnation (above), Evanescence, Best Coast, Wolf Alice, Buckcherry, Queensryche and Steel Panther are among the latest lineup additions.  Joining them are All Them Witches, Girlpool, Eternal Summers, Civil Twilight, John Moreland, Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown, the Coathangers, Conrad Oberg, Hollis Brown and a slew of Florida artists, including Kaleigh Baker, the AMFMs and Mike Dunn. Get the entire lineup to date here.

In addition, Moonstone has announced its comedy lineup for 2016: Jim Norton, Judah Friedlander, Jim Florentine, Tom Segura, Brent Morin, Nate Bargatze and Stump the Trunk with Eddie Trunk.

General admission tickets are on sale now for $229 and up, with discounts for teens and plenty of VIP options. Click here for all the details on Moonstone.
