Photos: Darius Rucker, Big and Rich play Tampa parties before College Football Playoff's national championship

Country music is all over the College Football Playoff, with Eric Paslay headlining Day 1 of Playoff Playlist Live in Curtis Hixon Park and Dierks Bentley and Little Big Town set to perform before Monday's Alabama-Clemson game at Raymond James Stadium.

But there were a few other big country names in Tampa over the weekend. You just needed some connections to know where to find them.

Darius Rucker, the singer for Hootie and the Blowfish and a big country star in his own right, played a semi-secret private show for VIPs at the Hard Rock Cafe inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Saturday night.

And on Sunday, Big and Rich came to our city to play a gig for Coors Light at Ferg's Live across from Amalie Arena, where they were later joined by Fitz and the Tantrums.

Lance Rothstein was at the Darius Rucker gig; Luis Santana caught Big and Rich. Click the headline of this post for a slideshow of photos from both shows.
