Ralph Macchio talks 'Karate Kid,' the 'soulful magic' of Pat Morita and more
On Saturday, Ralph Macchio will come to Tampa for his first theatrical Q&A screening of The Karate Kid, the 1984 classic that has defined his career.
"Fans love it," Macchio said in a phone interview. "They go back in time, they know this movie inside and out. It's like watching Rocky Horror Picture Show. They shout out the lines, some people dress up as the characters. More than anything, I get a lot back from them, and they hopefully have something to take away from me."
The screening is at 7:30 p.m. at the Tampa Theatre, and tickets are $46.50. Click here for details.
