Ribfest lineup change: Stephen Pearcy out, Georgia Satellites in
It's been a rough few days for Ribfest.
Last week, the St. Pete festival's Saturday night headliners, Three Dog Night, saw the untimely passing of one of their lead singers, Cory Wells. The band has announced it'll stick with its planned tour schedule, including the Ribfest show on Nov. 14.
"Our hearts are heavy, but we are going to honor Cory's wishes and continue," said co-lead singer Danny Hutton. "He'll always be with us in spirit."
The same can't be said for another Ribfest performer, Stephen Pearcy.
The former lead singer of Ratt was booked to perform on Friday, Nov. 13, just before Bret Michaels -- but this week it was announced that he was dropping out due to illness. In his place, Ribfest has booked Southern rockers the Georgia Satellites, above, best known for their '80s hit Keep Your Hands to Yourself.
Ribfest is scheduled for Nov. 13-15 in Vinoy Park. Other headliners this year include .38 Special, America and country artists Kip Moore, Chase Rice and the Cadillac Three.

And in the meantime, if you're desperate to hear Round & Round, no matter who's singing it, keep in mind the current version of Ratt -- without Pearcy -- will be performing on Nov. 6 at Ferg's Sports Bar in St. Petersburg. Click here for details on that show.
