Roger McGuinn talks about the Byrds, his Folk Den, living in Florida and more
Roger McGuinn, the founding singer of '60s rock icons the Byrds, is still going strong more than four decades into his career. Now 71, McGuinn has lived in Florida since 1984, and he's become a frequent performer at the Largo Cultural Center.
"I like the size of it, and Largo is a friendly place," he said during a recent phone interview. "I love the people, and the audiences are always warm."
McGuinn returns to the Largo Cultural Center at 8 p.m. Friday; tickets are $29.50-$44.50. Click here for details.
