Safety Harbor SongFest lineup: Love and Theft, Ben Sollee, Otis Taylor and more
In just two years, the Safety Harbor SongFest has exploded into a community phenomenon on the North Pinellas waterfront, with thousands of fans turning out for sets by Steep Canyon Rangers, Shawn Mullins, Joseph Arthur, Ben Taylor and more.
This year's third annual SongFest, coming April 2-3 to Safety Harbor, should be its biggest yet -- and once again, organizers are filling their lineup card with a fun and eclectic lineup of folk, blues and Americana artists.
Country duo Love and Theft, cellist-songwriter Ben Sollee, bluesman Otis Taylor, Canadian roots rockers the Bros. Landreth and Portland, Ore. folk duo the Shook Twins are among the notable names on the 2016 Safety Harbor SongFest lineup, unveiled Friday night.
Other names on the bill: the Vespers, the Mastersons, Chris Gelbuda, Joe Craven, Anne Harris, Daphne Willis, Dan Rodriguez, Tall Heights, David Jacobs Strain, Honeyhoney and Matt the Electrician. More artists will be added in the coming weeks.
Early bird weekend tickets are on sale until Jan. 31 for $35; they'll go up afterward. The event is at Safety Harbor Waterfront Park, 110 Veterans Memorial Lane. Click here for all the details on the festival.
