SoundBytes: 98 Rockfest, River Rock Music Festival, Tortuga Music Festival and more

t's a festival-heavy edition of SoundBytes! First up is the Tortuga Music Festival, one of the biggest country music festivals in the state, which has just announced its first headliner for 2017: Kenny Chesney. The superstar will lead next year's fest, April 7-9 in Fort Lauderdale. The rest of the Tortuga Music Festival lineup is still a few weeks away. Click here.

-- 98 Rockfest is returning to Tampa on April 28. Again, no lineup yet, but you can get pre-sale tickets for $19.98 and up. Click here.

-- Tampa's River Rock Music Festival will return to Water Works Park on Nov. 5, with a lineup that includes Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Roadkill Ghost Choir, Max Norton and Gritt. Advance tickets are $15 and up, but they'll go up soon. Click here.

-- Christian rock stars For King and Country are bringing their Christmas roadshow to the USF Sun Dome on  Nov. 29, alongside Lauren Daigle. Tickets are $25 and up. Tickets start at $25. Click here.

-- Another Monday, another big new slate of announcements in Clearwater: Jackie Evancho (Dec. 20, Ruth Eckerd Hall, click here), Lisa Lampanelli (Jan. 21, Capitol Theatre, click here), Gaelic Storm (Feb. 9, Capitol Theatre, click here), the Paul Thorn Band (Feb. 18, Capitol Theatre, click here), Mindi Abair (Feb. 22, Capitol Theatre, click here) and Air Supply (April 23, Capitol Theatre, click here).

-- Grunge rockers Puddle of Mudd are coming to Tampa's District 3 on Nov. 23. Tickets are $19.95 and up. Click here.
