SoundBytes: Becky G, Judas Priest, Living Colour and more



-- One of the stars of Sunday's Teen Choice Awards was Becky G, teenage singer of the late-summer smash Shower. This fall, she'll be on her way to St. Petersburg. Becky G will open for Wiggle hitmaker Jason Derulo on Nov. 1 at Jannus Live. Electro-pop act Wallpaper. is also on the bill. Tickets are $35-$40 and they'll go on sale Friday. Click here.

-- Can Orlando's Hard Rock Live handle an act as big as Judas Priest? The '70s and '80s metal icons will perform there on Oct. 29 alongside Steel Panther. Tickets start at $47.50. Click here.

-- Jazz chanteuse Diana Krall normally plays Ruth Eckerd Hall when she comes to town, but this December, she'll perform at the much more intimate Capitol Theatre. Tickets are priced accordingly, with the cheap seats starting at $102.25. Krall's website says they'll go on sale to the public Friday. Click here.

-- Another big star coming to the Capitol Theatre: Moody Blues singer Justin Hayward on Oct. 20. Tickets are $45-$65. Click here.

-- Pioneering funk-metal outfit Living Colour is coming to the State Theatre on Dec. 13 along with John Wesley. Tickets are $25. Click here.

-- Comic Chris D'Elia is coming to the Straz Center on Oct. 25, but if you're a USF student, you can see him for free at the school's annual USF Round Up pep rally and comedy show. It takes place at 7 p.m. Aug. 28 at the USF Sun Dome. Students must bring their ID to get in. Click here.

-- Born Of Osiris and Thy Art Is Murder are coming to the Orpheum on Oct. 27 with Betraying The Martyrs, Within the Ruins and Erra. Tickets are $18-$35. Click here.
