-- Fans of Tampa’s Gasparilla Music Festival can sleep a little easier knowing the festival has some financial support coming through at least 2016. Tampa’s Sykes Enterprises has signed on as a presenting sponsor of the festival, the third incarnation of which is scheduled for March 8-9 with the Flaming Lips, Delta Spirit, Jason Isbell and more. “The Gasparilla Music Festival is exactly the type of event that invigorates our urban core, improves our quality of life and gives downtown Tampa the right kind of youthful energy we need to be a first-class city,” Chuck Sykes said in a statement.
