SoundBytes: Paramore, Blues Traveler, The Neighbourhood and more

-- When the inaugural Coastline Festival announced its lineups last week for Tampa (Nov. 9) and West Palm Beach (Nov. 10), two bands were on the West Palm Beach bill, but not Tampa's: Capital Cities and The Neighbourhood. Additional performers were promised for Tampa, and now it looks like The Neighbourhood are one of them. The moody Californians announced on their website that they would be performing at Tampa's MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on Nov. 9, the date of Coastline. So while it's not official ... it's pretty much official.

-- What does Paramore have against Tampa Bay? You'd think a Fueled By Ramen-connected act would have booked a headlining show here at some point in the last couple of years. Instead, they'll be coming to the UCF Arena on Nov. 5. Click here.

-- Blues Traveler aren't giving us the run-around -- they're coming to Tampa's Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Sept. 26. Tickets are $33, and they go on sale Aug. 2. Click here.

-- One of 97X's favorite bands, Sick Puppies, are coming to town for an actual concert, and not a free radio station event! They'll be at the Ritz Ybor on Oct. 2; tickets are $20. Click here.

-- N'awlins institution Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk are coming to the Local 662 on Aug. 30. Tickets are $16-$18. Click here.

-- DJ duo Zeds Dead are coming to Jannus Live to headline a daylong EDM fest on Aug. 9, along with DJ Blend, LoudPuck, Dieselboy and more. For details, call (727) 565-0550.

-- Reggae great Beres Hammond is coming to Jannus Live on Aug. 30. Tickets are $30. Click here.

-- Neil Sedaka is coming back to Ruth Eckerd Hall on Jan. 5. Tickets are $39-$80. Click here.

-- Tampa's upcoming Fanboy Expo, an autograph and celebrity-sighting convention coming to the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay on Aug. 3-4, will bring in guests like The Walking Dead's Chandler Riggs, Elvira and The Empire Strikes Back's Billy Dee Williams. But for our money, the most interesting event might be the "Party with the Stars Beach Party," a "celebrity karaoke" dance party featuring a live performance by Thomas Ian Nicholas. From American Pie and Rookie of the Year. Exactly what will he be performing? That's what we want to know. Click here and here for details.
