-- Long live the radio rock of the '90s! Collective Soul, above, is coming to the Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg on March 2, alongside special guest Ed Kowalczyk from Live. (Will he sound better than the version of Live that played the Mahaffey earlier this year? They were surprisingly good!) Tickets are $35.50-$65.50, and they go on sale Friday. Click here.

-- Tickets to Jay Leno's show on Feb. 9 at the Capitol Theatre in Clearwater sold out so quickly, the outgoing Tonight Show host has added a second show there on March 29. Click here for the details.

-- Songwriting and guitar-playing hero Richard Thompson is coming to the Capitol Theatre in Clearwater on Jan. 27. Tickets are $34.50-$44.50 and they go on sale Saturday. Click here.

-- Also coming to the Capitol Theatre: Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes on Feb. 26. Tickets are $39-$55, and they go on sale Saturday. Click here.

-- DJ Excision is coming to the Amphitheatre in Ybor City, and promising 150,000 watts of sound. Joining him are Dirtyphonics and ill.Gates. Tickets are $35 and they go on sale at noon Friday. Click here and here.

-- British metalcore group Bring Me The Horizon provided one of our all-time favorite Jannus Live moments, when former guitarist Jona Weinhofen wandered through the crowd and climbed the tree in the center of the courtyard, still playing, with security at his heels. So it should be a fun show when the group returns to Jannus Live on Feb. 5 with Of Mice and Men. Tickets are $22.50-$25 and they go on sale Friday. Click here.

-- Psychedelic-electronic duo Shpongle is coming to the State Theatre in St. Petersburg on Feb. 22. Tickets are $22 and they go on sale Friday. Click here.

-- According to Ticketmaster, another huge name in Christian rock is coming to the USF Sun Dome: Casting Crowns on March 28. Tickets are $22.25-$72.25, and they'll go on sale Dec. 6. Click here.

-- Seminole Heights' Microgroove record store is holding a second anniversary party on Dec. 1. They'll be opening at 11 a.m., closing when "we feel like it," and hosting live music from Matt Hires, Atlantic Oceans and more. Click here for details.
