-- DJ Jazzy Jeff may be gearing up for a big tour with the Fresh Prince next year, but first, he'll be in Curtis Hixon Park on Dec. 12, performing at the fifth annual Winter Wonder Ride. He'll headline a party in the park after the bicycle ride. Tickets to the ride start at $50; access to the park and festival alone is just $10. Click here for details.

-- Need to work off your Turkey Day weight? Two new concerts were just booked for Thanksgiving weekend at Ferg's Sports Bar in St. Petersburg: Tone Loc, Digital Underground and Young MC on Nov. 27 ($14.95 and up) and Sevendust on Nov. 28 ($14.95 and up, click here). (UPDATE: Almost immediately after the hip-hop show was booked, it was announced Young MC was suddenly off the bill. A replacement will soon be announced.)

-- Two of the world's best tribute bands are coming to town: Grateful Dead acolytes Dark Star Orchestra on Feb. 13 (tickets are $26 and up; click here); and Get the Led Out, a tribute to Led Zeppelin, on March 20 at the Tampa Theatre ($38-$43, click here).

-- Four more bands are joining Deicide and Obituary at the first Florida Metal Fest on Jan. 30 at the Cuban Club: Corrosion of Conformity, Broken Hope, Madball and Malevolent Creation. Click here for details.
