-- Eight bands will compete for Tampa Bay's slot in the Destination Okeechobee Battle of the Bands, a competition to see who can perform alongside Mumford and Sons, Kendrick Lamar and Robert Plant at the 2016 Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival on March 3-6. Alex the Great, Bangarang, Connor Vance, Denim Blue and Miclain Keith, Glass House Point, Polyenso, the Real Clash and the Western Sons will compete at 7 p.m. Feb. 17 at the State Theatre.
