Olav Stubberud

-- The Amphitheatre in Tampa wants to be your pre- and post-New Year's party headquarters. On New Years Eve, GTA and Vincent will take over the decks. Tickets are $20-$35; click here. And after the ball drops, trop house DJ and producer Thomas Jack, above, will hit the Amp on Jan. 2, in a show presumably aimed at helping you work some of those holiday calories off in plenty of time for beach season. Tickets are $15. Click here.

-- Many may know him from NewsRadio or Fear Factor, but as a podcaster, Joe Rogan has cultivated one of the most dedicated fan followings of any comic out there. His so-called "Deathsquad" turns out in droves to see him and any of his comic friends. So expect a huge crowd when he performs at the Tampa Theatre at 8 p.m. Jan. 16. Tickets are $43.50 and up, and they go on sale Friday. Click here.

-- Want to watch 50 Cent drink? Great news: Now you can! The rapper is slated to make an appearance at the Drynk in South Tampa on Nov. 20. He won't be performing, only promoting Effen Vodka. Still, how can you pass up on a chance to sip drinks in a club with 50 Cent? Tickets are $10-$15. Click here.

-- Also coming to the Tampa Theatre: Classic guitar hero Benise on Feb. 25. Tickets are $29.50 and up. Click here.

-- Psych-rock heroes the Zombies are coming to the Capitol Theatre on March 2. Tickets are $39.50 and up. Click here.

-- Also coming to the Cap: Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Richard Marx on Feb. 28. Tickets are $44.50 and up. Click here.

-- This one's a long way off, but Il Divo is a pretty big deal in the world of popera. They'll be at Ruth Eckerd Hall on Sept. 21, and tickets are $75 and up. Click here.

-- Days after the first show at Ferg's Sports Bar's new Concert Courtyard, we have two new shows coming there: Quiet Riot on Dec. 12 (tickets are $19.99-$25, click here) and Saliva on Dec. 19 ($14.95-$20, click here).

-- Mustachioed road warrior Donavon Frankenreiter is once again on his way back to the State Theatre in St. Petersburg. He'll perform there March 10, and tickets are $20-$25. Click here.

-- Metal outfit Decapitated is also coming to the State, on Feb. 10. Tickets are $15-$18. Click here.

-- Early bird tickets to next year's Wanee Festival, scheduled for April 14-16 in Live Oak, go on sale Monday for $179.95. Expect a lineup to come early next year.
