-- Waiting on a lineup announcement for Wild 94.1's Wild Splash festival? It'll be coming before too long, because we now know the festival has a date: March 5 at Coachman Park in Clearwater. Early bird tickets are on sale now while supplies last for $20, with general admission tickets going on sale this Friday. Click here.

-- Speaking of radio festivals: We're still a few weeks from getting a lineup for the 35th annual Tropical Heatwave in Ybor City, but WMNF-88.5 has announced the first act on the bill, and they're no strangers to Heatwave or any other local venue: The Bright Light Social Hour. This year's Heatwave takes place April 30 in and around the Cuban Club. Click here.

-- And while we're on the topic of festivals, this is interesting: A handful of loosely interconnected events between Feb. 11 and 14 has been christened the Sunshine City Songwriters Festival. This includes concerts and workshops by Zoe Lewis (Feb. 11, Hideaway Cafe); Cliff Eberhardt (Feb. 11, Palladium); Patty Griffin, Anais Mitchell and Sara Watkins (Feb. 12, Mahaffey Theater); Kinky Friedman (Feb. 13, Craftsman House Gallery); and Nerissa Nields (Feb. 14, Museum of Fine Arts). Prices vary by venue; click here for details.

-- Singer-songwriter Corey Smith is returning to Jannus Live on April 9. Tickets are $22-$27 and they go on sale Friday. Click here.

-- Rowdy rising country trio the Cadillac Three are coming to the Round Up on March 18. Tickets are $15-$20. Click here.

-- Cool night of dreamy indie pop coming to Crowbar on April 7: Blackbird Blackbird with Chad Valley and others. Tickets are $8-$10. Click here.

-- The Rev. Billy C. Wirtz's concert on Tuesday at Skipper's Smokehouse has been canceled. A new date will be announced.

-- Experimental Kentucky rockers Twin Limb are coming to the Local 662 on March 9. Click here.
