Tim Daly talks fundraising, his famous family, the politics of 'Madam Secretary' and more

Why will Tim Daly be scaling a skyscraper in downtown Tampa on Saturday?

"It's for a really good cause," the actor (Wings, Madam Secretary, Private Practice) said of his role in the American Lung Association's Fight For Air Climb at the Bank of America building.

This will be Daly's second trot up the stairs of a tall building, having climbed 45 floors of the Presidential Towers in Chicago to promote a campaign to remind older adults to stay up to dates on immunizations and be aware of pneumococcal pneumonia.

"I was so amazed and proud of the people in Chicago," Daly said. "They raised a lot of money for research and spirits were really high."

The climb starts at 8 a.m. at the Bank of America Plaza, 101 E Kennedy Blvd. Registration is $35 with a minimum of $100. Click here for details.
