A million more guns in Florida
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement this year is on track to do nearly a million background checks on people who want to buy guns. That means more guns than ever here in the Sunshine State. The reason? Gun lobbyist Marion Hammer cited sales, gift giving and an improving economy. She didn't mention the 20 first-graders who were murdered in their classrooms in Connecticut. That was also a good thing for people who sell guns to people who want guns.
