Florida has America's sixth-worst drivers and I think I know why
So says carinsurancecomparison.com. I-4 in and around Orlando is so, so discouraging, and U.S. 19, especially in Pasco County, is a total soul suck. South Florida is South Florida. The Orlando Sentinel fingered New York, New Jersey, California and Massachusetts as traditionally "horrible driver states," but here's the thing: Drivers in places like Boston and New York aren't bad drivers. They're aggressive drivers. Big difference. Because in that aggression is consistency. That's what's missing down here, in the country's "schizophrenic" fantasy land, where we don't know whether the person in the next car over is coming or going.
