How about a Maltese as honorary mascot for Tampa Bay Rays?
Jane Marinello of New Port Richey makes a pitch for Morgan to be named the Rays' honorary mascot.
Here's the pup's tale: "My name is Morgan, the Miracle Maltese. I am 15 years young and a BIG Rays fan."
"I have survived cancer 3 yrs ago, a stroke last May and a recent compressed disc problem, all just waiting and wanting to see my RAYS win the World Series!! I am always bragging about the RAYs and asking my friends and their parents to root for our team. GO RAYS!!"
