It's the Super Bowl of political pomp. Yes, there will be millions of others, and you may not even get a chance to see but a trace of the new president with his hand on the Bible, but millions out there want to be a true witness to history, rather than merely a TV viewer.Robin Didden of Seminole Heights was lucky enough to win tickets to Barack Obama's inauguration through Rep Kathy Castor's office. She's found a way around $900 room hotels (with four-night stays) by staying with a friend of a friend in Maryland, an hour away from all the action.
Do you have a ticket to see history? Or like some others we've heard of, are you trekking to Washington D.C. without one just to be part of it all? If so, please share your tales here of how you scored your ticket and your plans for where you'll stay. Please include your e-mail address or contact me if you'd like for share your tale during your journey.
