The Pier: Keep it or close it?
A report casts doubt on St. Petersburg's longstanding plan to spend $50 million to shore up the iconic Pier's deteriorating infrastructure, pointing out taxpayers would save $1 million a year if it were shut down. What should the city do?
Spend the $50 million and keep it open
Close it and save $1 million a year
