When the Tampa Bay Rays posted a job recently for Raymond, the beloved blue mascot, our intrepid reporter Stephanie Hayes had but one thought. Try outs!
After all, she met many of the job qualifications: outgoing, good with kids, able to wiggle her belly like nobody's business. And while she was weak on a few key skills – like actual professional mascot experience – Stephanie wasted no time pulling together a video application with a little help from her friends.
