Dunedin's lottery-winning waiter on ABC's '20/20'
Dunedin's quirky Casa Tina restaurant and its famous lottery-winning waiter appeared on ABC's 20/20 Friday night.
The February story in the Tampa Bay Times about Alexandra Chaar, a 21-year-old server who won a $1 million Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket, was picked up around the world and caught the attention of Barbara Walters. After taking a one-time payout of $700,000, the college student was back at work waiting tables because she loves the place, she said at the time. Here's the story ABC wrote about her and another satisfied lottery winner. And in case you didn't catch it, here's where those winning Mega Millions tickets were sold. They'll share an estimated $640 million jackpot.
