Gov. Crist now favors changing Florida's class size amendment. Would you vote to change it?

Gov. Charlie Crist unveiled his proposed education budget today at Bay Vista Fundamental Elementary School in St. Petersburg. He said he wants the Legislature to ask Florida voters to change the class size amendment in the state constitution to make it "more affordable.

Superintendents and others say going to the next phase — caps for every classroom, beginning next school year — would cost too much, create problems with student enrollment and do little to improve student achievement.
