It's Four Square Day, a social media initiative started by Nathan Bonilla-Warford of Tampa that's turned into a global event. Tampa is ranked as the No. 2 top participating citiy. With it starting here, shouldn't we be No. 1?

Fans of the application -- which lets you "check in" and post tips with a cell phone --  will be racing around Tampa Bay to visit shops and restaurants offering special deals. Tampa has more than 30 participating businesses, and St. Petersburg boats about a dozen. Find the full list of deals here.
