How much trouble is Balloon Boy Falcon in?
Read the latest on the balloon boy drama:
Investigators say they want to question an associate of Richard Heene after e-mails surfaced showing the two had discussed a balloon hoax months ago as part of a public relations campaign for a reality TV show.
The Feed: As police in Colorado now say the story of a 6-year-old who might have floated away in a helium balloon was an elaborate hoax, there may be no one more abused by this whole affair -- other than the children of fame-seeking nutcases Richard and Mayumi Heene, of course -- than the news media.
For hours, much of the nation was transfixed Thursday afternoon by images of the big silver helium balloon floating over Colorado. And the question on their minds: Where is 6-year-old Falcon Heene, the little boy that was thought to have been aboard his father's strange craft when it took off from their back yard.
Finally, about 6:15 p.m., the word came out: Falcon had been found. He was hiding in the attic over the family's garage.
It appears he did what many kids would have done. He thought he was going to get in trouble so he hid.
So, what do you think? Should Falcon be in trouble? What's the appropriate punishment for something like this?
