How will Pinellas' new school start times affect you?
On Tuesday, Pinellas County School Board members voted to approve a
new bell schedule that requires elementary students to be at school at either 7:35 a.m., 8:35 a.m. or 9:20 a.m. Middle schoolers will start class 10 minutes earlier, at 9:20 a.m. And high school schedules will start at the same time, 7:05 a.m.
Are you a parent concerned about how these changes will affect your family, your work or your budget due to before- or after-school care? If so, please call reporter Rebecca Catalanello, (727) 893-8707 or e-mail rcatalanello@sptimes.com.
