CHEATING AT UCF: Richard Quinn, a faculty member in the College of Business Administration at the University of Central Florida, this week became a folk hero for standing up to student cheaters. His voice quavering with indignation, he told the class that everyone would have to retake the exam.
ROBOSIGNERS: As concern mounts over sloppy documentation in foreclosure cases, Bryan Bly and Crystal Moore have become the most famous "robosigners'' even though Nationwide has insisted they knew exactly what they are signing. But now - in depositions that have gone viral on You Tube and AOL - Bly admits he's "not really sure'' what a mortgage assignment is and Moore struggles to explain some of the language in documents on which she is listed as a vice president but that she admits she never read.
ALLEN WEST: Joyce Kaufman, the self-styled "most heavily armed" conservative radio host in South Florida, has quit as Congressman-elect Allen West's chief of staff, just days after taking the job. "How can I be a racist if I campaigned for a black candidate?" she just said on her show, calling the controversy over her views on immigration and other issues, "electronic lynching by proxy." A YouTube clip -- now removed -- shows her calling for the people to take back government even if it means using "bullets." Previous profile of Allen West.
