Links from the Times for April 29: Commencement speech gets Obama close to young voters; Death toll from tornadoes keeps growing
President Barack Obama will be in South Florida on Friday to give the commencement speech at Miami-Dadwe College. The visit is more than a chance to share wisdom with the grads, as the president tries to reconnect with young voters who were key to his 2008 election win. In March the White House said it hoped to hold 100 roundtable discussions with young voters, including this one in Cleveland. Meanwhile, this ad being run by Republicans in Iowa is geared toward younger voters.

The New York Times compiled several videos of the tornadoes.
