Officer Dan Pascoe will reset the image of the British cop. Police in Surrey set up a roadblock to catch a guy who stole a BMW. Pascoe was standing at his patrol car when the BMW crashed into it, knocking him over. The thief had to abandon the car and make off on foot. Pascoe, who was just hit by a car, jumped up and chased the thief.
Almost from the moment he arrived at the shabby group home in eastern Hillsborough in 2003, Kevin Rouse wanted to leave.
Developmentally disabled, he felt he was preyed on sexually. The operators even encouraged some of the men, many like Rouse accused of sex crimes, to have sex with each other as part of their treatment in a controversial practice known as "quiet time." Read past coverage of his case here.
