Times staffers Dan DeWitt and Daniel Wallace were in Haiti in September, eight months after the earthquake that killed an estimated 230,000 people in and near Port-au-Prince. They reported on the recovery work of Partners in Health — co-founded by Dr. Paul Farmer, a Hernando High graduate — and to see how the organization and country had fared since their last visit.
AP tests: The Pinellas school district is trying to improve its Advanced Placement high school classes by better training teachers and better preparing students.
