TIA boss: Louis Miller, executive director of Tampa International Airport for the last 14 years, abruptly resigned on Wednesday. Miller wrote his bosses on the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority board that he will continue in the position through April 23. Miller, 61, said in an interview that he wanted look for a new career opportunity after running the airport since 1996.
Earlier this month, the Times reported on the rift between Miller and board member Steve Burton.
