A look back: St. Petersburg election night photos
St. Petersburg Times staff photographers took some great photos from St. Petersburg Election Night celebrations, but we thought it would be fun to look back on some memorable election pictures from St. Pete's past.
No hanging chads here: Election workers use markers to tabulate votes in this Times photo from Nov. 11, 1966.
One by one: Members of the League of Women Voters count ballots in St. Petersburg's primary election on March, 6, 1963.
Does he look familiar? Charlie Crist celebrates his
win in the 1992 election for Florida state senate with 5-year-old
Kyle McKeon at the Firehouse Restaurant in downtown St.
Petersburg.
He's no baby, anymore: Rep. C.W. Bill Young, holds his grandson Bradley while celebrating his victory at the Don Cesar Hotel in Nov. 1974.
No machines yet: These voters take their time to study the ballot in May 1948.
