Must see photos: Space shuttle Endeavour on its way

Endeavor_3 reader John Sullivan, of Clearwater, shared some fabulous photos of space shuttle Endeavour as it blasted into space early this morning. The space shuttle took flight before dawn, igniting the sky with a brilliant flash seen for miles around.

If you were up early and snapped any photos of the space shuttle, please share them with us. Here's how:

This photo was taken about 30 seconds after launch.

The Shuttle continues to climb.

A close-up of the SRBs.

The "chamber pressure" of the bright SRBs starts to diminish.

Brian James of St. Petersburg shot this shuttle photo from Vinoy Park in St. Petersburg, early Monday morning. "This was the first and only frame I was able to capture of the shuttle. The shuttle disappeared during frame number two," he wrote.
