We recently asked readers to refrain from posting abusive or bogus comments on The Buzz. Looks like we neglected to make the same request to Gradebook readers -- and all of our blogs, of course.

Kent Vermeer, principal at Tarpon Springs High School, says someone else used his name when posting comments about teacher tenure on The Gradebook. The comments have since been deleted.

This should be a reminder to folks to use a healthy dose of skepticism when connecting names with published comments.
