Thanks to John Burkett for sharing this photo he snapped in his front yard in Seminole Heights. He offered this description of the picture:

"I was lured outside by what sounded like a cat meowing. Turns out the noise was caused by this frog as it dangled by its leg from the snake's mouth."

Burkett didn't have a final photo of a snake with a big frog-shaped lump. His story actually has a happy endiing....

"After a few minutes, the frog and the snake were blown out of the tree by a gust of wind, and the snake slithered away without the frog."
