Photo gallery: Preserving Pasco
If the Penny for Pasco sales tax is extended, a portion would be used to buy environmentally sensitive lands. We visit the Jumping Gully Preserve and the Pithlachascotee River Preserve in Spring Hill, to look at an example of the program in action. The Jumping Gully Preserve is a specific example of how the county is trying to restore a former cattle ranch to its natural habitat. See photos.
