Photo gallery: Rarely seen views of Sept. 11, 2001
More than eight years later, images of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks still captivate. Released this week, photos taken from a police helicopter show New York's World Trade Center after the twin towers had been struck by jets and later collapsed into dust. ABC got the images — taken by police Detective Greg Semendinger — through a Freedom of Information request. We've posted a gallery of the new images in our All Eyes photography blog.
