Sam Donaldson, Olivia Newton-John turn out for Tampa charity ball
They had Fun, fun fun at the 16th annual Magnolia Ball in Tampa last weekend. Retired ABC newsman Sam Donaldson and singer Olivia Newton-John were among the guests that helped raise $2.4 million for the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute. The event featured entertainment by original Beach Boy Mike Love, 68, and his new bandmates at the A La Carte Pavilion in Tampa.
Donaldson, chair of the Moffitt board of advisers, popped up during the live auction to present Newton-John, a cancer survivor.
