Were you dancing in the streets last night in downtown St. Petersburg? Lots of other folks were, and photographer Andrea Lypka captured photos of the monthly outdoor party, Get Downtown. Take a look, see who was letting loose on Friday night:
Robyn Hahnes and Stan Ivanov said they decided to spend the evening downtown because "We like the music, and this event is more fun than going to a movie."
Amy Figg and Dan Regan from St. Petersburg danced in the streets.
Mark Dayton, Kym Hough and Joe Toner celebrated the uptick in their real estate sales.
Debbie Lincoln. left, and Linda Timm, both from St. Petersburg, say they come to the Get Downtown event to socialize. "I also like people watching and my cigar," Timm said.
Carlee Fugett, 6, danced with her aunt, Ann Marie Cash.
