Video: Outpatient surgery becomes a nightmare



In 2010, Lisa-Maria Carter had an ovarian cyst removed. Her surgeon said she'd go home in a few hours. Instead, she woke up in a coma with flesh-eating bacteria attacking her intestines and abdomen. Lack of circulation forced the amputation of her hands and feet. Now she's suing her physician, USF and Tampa General Hospital.
