Your best shots: How I took this Osprey photo
Loyce Hood of St. Petersburg reveals how she captured this osprey photo at John Chestnut Park in Palm Harbor:
He's fairly young and seemed unafraid of me. It's unusual for an Osprey to sit still for photos; especially when I was so close to him.This image was shot with my favorite lens, a Canon 55-250mm IS lens. Because I was shooting up toward the sky I set the exposure compensation to +1 stop so I could keep detail in his feathers.
